Nine Volt Audio Chopped Guitars presents the sound of the six-string in an entirely new and refreshing way. Taken from skillfully recorded studio sessions, each guitar part has been effected, broken into a multitude of pieces, and then carefully and creatively re-assembled. The result is a DVD-ROM collection of over 400 loops that contain fresh melodic ideas with uniquely sliced and stuttered rhythms.

Chopped Guitars will serve as a starting point for song ideas, add texture to an existing track, and most importantly, allow for a perfect blend of the organic and traditional with the electronic and modern.

Specifications:

-Chopped Guitars is a DVD-ROM that features 100% copyright free loops.

-The DVD contains the Stylus RMX format, with 99 suites and over 400 grooves.

-The DVD contains .wav files (which have been ACIDized), a Reason Refill and a separate folder with the REX2 files. This allows the loops to be used in other programs that support the REX2 format.

-All loops are broken into nine different beat-per-minute (bpm) folders: 92, 96, 100, 104, 108, 112, 116, 120 and 124.

-Each folder contains over 40 .wav/REX2 files, totaling more than 400 distinct loops.

-All loops have been recorded in 24-bit resolution.

-All loop file names identify the musical key and bpm.

-Some of the effects used to process the loops include: distortion, overdrive, fuzz, phase, analog delay, digital delay, tremolo, reverb, filters, compression, vocoder, stereo expander, etc…
